About SGKVK

1959 2011
Up to 1958, water supply and water disposal systems in the cities of Siberia and Far East were designed by Giprokommunvodokanal Moscow Institute. As the volume of the design and survey works in the country grew, and in order to make construction sites closer to designers, in 1959 the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing established the Novosibirsk Department of Giprokommunvodokanal Moscow Institute, which finally developed into Giprokommunvodokanal Siberian Institute.

Today, ОАО Sibgiprokommunvodokanal is a leading Russian institute for water supply and water disposal facilities design. Major facilities for water supply and sewage were built based on the Institute designs in many cities of Siberia, Far East and Central Russia, as well as some cities abroad: in Bulgaria, Mongolia and Kazakhstan.
